You will have your LASIK vision correction using the best and most advanced technology, and experience
Dr Khalil is committed to providing his patients with the newest and safest state-of-the-art technologies. He offers LASIK and laser vision correction using a choice of 2 of the best recognised systems in the world today, the Allegretto Wavelight with its wavefront optimised technology, and the Visx CustomVue system with its wavefront fully customized treatment. Our high tech refractive surgery instrumentation, including the more accurate IntraLase laser in combination with either of these systems ensures our patients that they will have the highest-quality laser vision correction available.
Pre-operative analysis of your eye visual system is carried out with the Pentacam and/or the Wavescan systems, both are advanced state of the art systems for evaluation and detection of the minutest detail in your eye system, and fashioning treatment accordingly.
The iLASIK system, Femto-LASIK, Blade-Free Intralasik
The IntraLase is the first of two lasers in the iLASIK procedure, and replaces the traditional blade or ‘microkeratome’ to create a flap in the cornea (the surface of the eye).
in the iLASIK procedure, Dr Khalil first performs blade-free corneal flap using the advanced femto laser (Intralase, left side of the picture), he then rotates the bed to the excimer laser system (Visx S4, right side of the picture) where he performs custom, point by point treatment for your visual error based on the extensive data obtained before operation by the iDesign system (right side of the picture)
Advanced OCULUS PENTACAM Evaluation of the Cornea
This innovative device allows performing various corneal measurements like thickness (pachymetry), as well as anterior and posterior corneal topography and analysis of the evolution of keratoconus, collecting the data required for refractive surgery in the pre- and postoperative period (LASIK and PRK)
ALLEGRETTO WAVE® PLATFORM TECHNOLOGY
With its ultrafast treatment, WaveLight technology is the 1st to show an improvement in optical performance resulting in a better quality of vision. Taking human sight beyond 20/20 is possible. The ALLEGRETTO WAVE® Eye-Q brings you closer to achieving your desire for perfect vision. This technology, built by WaveLight, represents a new generation in laser vision technology.
The Wavefront OptimizedT treatment considers the unique curvature and biomechanics of the eye, preserving the quality of vision and addressing the spherical distortions that can induce glare and may affect night vision.
The success rates are astoundingly high. Patients are encouraged to have
a detailed consultation with Dr Khalil prior to the day of surgery.
