There is no absolute or easy answer for the best suitable vision correction for each individual. Some surgeons would put lens implantation as their preferred choice for vision correction in most of their cases. However, the standard routine, which Dr Khalil is having, and shared by most top refractive surgeons in the world is as follows: Lens implnatation is the first choice in high degrees of short sightednessrefractive errors, and for moderate and low errors if LASIK is not suitable because of thin corneas or due to other reasons.
